Ice Cream at the Beach
Im at the seaside
Sitting on the beach
Spread out on a towel
Waiting for a ice cream each
I’ve just decided
That I might play
Pretend sharks in the sea
To scare the lifeguard hip hip hurray!
Oh no I’ve slipped
In some green slimy stuff
Fallen head first in the sea
That’s it I’ve had enough
Whilst running back to mum
I spot a starfish on the shore
Picking it up hoping
That I will find some more
Collecting some more sea shells
Running around franticly
Looking for more of them
Mum is waving across to me
She is holding something in her hand
Has she got my ice cream yet?
I hope its chocolate or maybe with sprinkles
I think that she has I bet!
Wow, this poem is really good. Love the rhyming and ice cream (of course) Heres just a few things I’m going to point out.
